The double cylinder?knife gate valve is a slide gate with peunmatic cylinder on both side. This type of valve has no stem,the two cylinder push up the gate high when it’s open. Operated by manual,pneumatic or electric actuators, knife gate valve is widely used in the industry application such as Pulp and Paper,Power plants,Wastewater treatment plants,Chemical plants,Iron and Steel Industry,Food and Beverage,Bulk handling,Mining,etc.

Body:

  • Integral body structure design,small flow resistance,easy assembly,minimize the possibility of shell leakage.
  • Fixed guid claw,no groove design,the solid would not be accumulated and stuck.

Gate:

  • The slide gate has a bevelled cutting edge. As a result, solids can be cut through, achieving a tight seal in the closed position.
  • On request, the thickness of the knife gate valves gate can be increased for higher operating pressures and/or higher quality material can be used.

Seat:

  • Side entry and replaceable seat design,can be changed freely.
  • The seat ring retainer avoid flow fluid flushing the seat ring.
  • Material of seat is selected according to the meduim and service convice condition,choosing metal seal or soft seal.Metal seal is 304+stl or 316+stl.Soft seats are PTFE,EPDM,NBR,which have good sealing performance.
